Law firm names new partner

Andrew Gore

Shakespeare Martineau has unveiled a senior promotion at its Nottingham office.

Town planner Andrew Gore, who works for the law firm’s specialist planning consultancy Marrons Planning, has been promoted to partner.

Gore has more than 15 years’ experience in the sector, during which he has worked with a host of housebuilders, landowners and land-promoters.

The company has also made two major promotions at its other offices. Emma Bryant has been made associate partner and Simon Robinson is now a partner in the real estate team in London.

Duncan James, head of the Nottingham office, said: “Andrew, Emma and Simon have become invaluable assets to their teams. They have proven that they are hugely dedicated and talented individuals, bringing an impressive range of knowledge and experience to the table.

“Recognising such commitment and encouraging people to unlock their true potential is key to the continued success of the firm. Without those who always strive to do better, we wouldn’t be able to grow, something that is vital for achieving the best results possible for our clients. I look forward to seeing our new partners embrace their roles and am certain they’ll continue to prosper.”
