Nottingham’s alternative to MIPIM set to return

NIPIM – Nottingham’s alternative to MIPIM, the world’s largest commercial property event – is set to return on 11 March.

The free event, which will take place at Surface Gallery on Southwell Road in the city’s Creative Quarter, offers the chance to network over coffee and pastries before matters turn to some of Nottingham’s key property developments – all in the space of just 90 minutes.

Six presenters will deliver a seven-minute talk on their particular project or passion, with representatives from Nottingham City Council, Nottingham Castle Trust, Blueprint, Nottingham UNESCO City of Literature and Nottingham Business School taking centre stage.

The Creative Quarter Company, which organises the event, says one speaking slot has been saved “for someone who convinces us between now and 11 March that their story is too important – right now – not to be told.”

The event will run from 8.30-10am.
