Law firm expands conveyancing services with new department

Fidler & Pepper has expanded its range of conveyancing services with the launch of a new department which will act exclusively for builders selling new properties on new homes developments.

The East Midlands firm’s Commercial New Homes department will be led by Diane Price and Rachael Hillam, who have both recently joined the company.

The pair, who have more than 60 years’ combined legal experience, will offer legal support for new-build property developers, landowners, individuals, self-build projects and local authorities.

Mark Slade, CEO at Fidler & Pepper Lawyers, said: “We have built a nationwide reputation for being a leading conveyancing company acting for people buying and selling homes.

“In order to strategically grow our business, we are always looking for new opportunities to support our conveyancing and private client legal services. Right now it makes perfect sense for us to develop a new, specialist department that strengthens what we already do.”

“We are really excited that both Diane and Rachael have joined our team and we are looking forward to the Commercial New Homes department helping Fidler & Pepper stand out from the crowd even further.”

Price said: “Fidler & Pepper already has a great reputation for conveyancing and we can build on this. Developers need information and data quickly and the unique technology that Fidler & Pepper has developed over the years for conveyancing can deliver that.”

Hillam added: “This is an exciting time to establish and develop a new department in a progressive, growing company that wants to be the best it can be for clients and for colleagues alike.”

The new department is separate to the company’s New Homes Residential department, which purely acts for purchasers buying a new property on a new development.
