East Midlands dealmaker works on cross-border deal

Bromsgrove-based RSM Partners has been sold to to US-based BMC Software, a global leader in IT solutions.

RSM Partners, now BMC Mainframe Services by RSM Partners, secures, maintains, and improves mainframe systems. The acquisition provides BMC with access to RSM’s security services, software and penetration testing capabilities for IBM mainframe systems, for vulnerability detection across both infrastructure and business applications.

Mazars advised BMC on the deal. The transaction was led by Rob Burton and East Midlands-based Paul Pownall from Mazars Deal Advisory, with Gareth O’Hara and Mike Linford acting from the Wilkes Partnership Solicitors.
