Developer to build 165,000 sq ft spec unit

How the scheme will look

A new 165,000 sq ft office and production unit is set to be built by Clowes Developments at Centrix Business Park in Corby.

Derbyshire-based Clowes Developments will continue its investment in the business park that is already home to names like Crown Paints and Rexel.

The unit has a projected build time of 12 months from commencement to hand over.

James Richards, development director at Clowes Developments, said: “This is a significant multi-million pound investment in a large production unit capable of creating and sustaining hundreds of jobs.

“Working with our architects we have brought forward a future-proof design with a number of sustainable features like EV charging points and an office façade with solar shading. With well developed landscaping around the unit, the building will make a positive contribution to Corby’s commercial offer.”
