Flooring firm brings 15 jobs to Derby

Some 15 jobs have been brought to Derby by a specialist flooring company with the hope of more on the way after a deal brokered by Salloway Property Consultants.

Advance Resin Technologies (International) specialises in the installation of high-quality epoxy resin and polyurethane flooring systems.

It has moved to Royal Scot Road on Pride Park after outgrowing its previous base in Borrowash.

The company’s products are used across a large variety of industries including food production, health and car showrooms.

Its teams also install high-quality drives in private homes.

Advanced Resin Technologies (International) has leased a unit previously occupied by MRX Technologies which vacated on March 31 after exercising an option to break their lease.

Managing director, Michael Rudkin, said: “We needed enough space to expand because of a very encouraging order book, including companies overseas.

“We have fifteen staff currently but are looking to bring in more once the coronavirus lockdown is lifted.”

“We have experience in the industry over 12 years, working with firms who need specialist floors which may need to be biochemically resistant, can’t be impregnated with bacteria or have the marble-type or high-gloss finishes.

“Clients include household name companies and millionaires who want the best in their homes.

“We are delighted to have worked with Salloway Property Consultants who were first class in finding a unit which allows us to present a professional image while also having more office and storage space.

“Salloway’s surveyor, Hugo Beresford went out of his way to be of assistance and was a tower of strength.”

Beresford said: “It was excellent to get such a quick result for Michael and his team on behalf of a private landlord client.

“It is more evidence that there are still deals being done despite the Coronavirus crisis and I am sure that, once the lockdown is eased, there will be many more.”
