Mothercare seals deal to sub-let Daventry warehouse

Mothercare has sublet a “substantial part” of its Daventry warehouse in a move that will save it £220,000 a month.

The UK arm of the business entered administration in November of last year.

Mothercare has declined to name the firm which has take part of the facility, which previously predominantly catered for its stricken UK arm.

Administrators from PwC closed all 79 UK Mothercare stores last November, cutting 2,500 jobs. The UK arm of the business had been making a loss for some years.
