Nottingham manufacturer wins major contract with aerospace supplier

Nottingham-based manufacturer Filtertechnik has won one of its biggest ever contracts to supply a listed aerospace supplier with rigs for testing and certifying heat exchangers.

The contract, valued at £566,000 will see Filtertechnik work with Warwickshire-based Meggitt – a leading international company specialising in high performance components and subsystems for the aerospace, defence, and selected energy markets.

Richard Price, managing director, Filtertechnick said: “We are very excited to be working with Meggitt, and our contract with them is one of the biggest we have ever secured. Meggitt is making a huge investment and commitment to its operations in the UK and we are delighted to be part of this.”

Simon Wileman senior manager programme management, Meggitt, said: “The work Filtertechnick will be doing for us is very important and following a competitive tender process, we felt they had the right skill set and experience to meet our specific needs in this area.”
