Bar and restaurant group opens seventh Nottingham venue

Nottingham bar and restaurant group Fletcher Gate Industries has opened its seventh venue in the city after securing a lease on the former Jamie’s Italian building on Low Pavement.

Magic Garden has opened in the Grade II listed Georgian building and is the latest venue for the group, following the success of Hockley Arts Club, Penny Lane and Das Kino.

Adam Pereira of Fletcher Gate Industries said: “We are delighted to have opened our seventh venue in the city.

“We were drawn to the property due to its idyllic garden and truly beautiful Grade II Listed building to create a venue for the post Covid-world. The garden features Chinese lanterns, glitter balls, ribbons and bunting, and will feature an outside cinema over August.

“The venue is well-spaced for social distancing and allows for 196 people in the garden plus more inside, where we offer cocktails, beer, cider and spirits, alongside stonebaked pizza and a selection of summer influenced nibbles.”

Alan Pearson of FHP said: “Fletcher Gate Industries are an established bar and restaurant operator in Nottingham with a track record of success and this made it an easy decision for my client to proceed with them in what was a seamless transaction over the period of three weeks, enabling them to open as the country came out of lockdown.

“The venue has been very successful since its opening on 4th July, as people have sought to take advantage of the sun drenched south facing garden, a hidden gem in Nottingham’s city centre.”
