Nottinghamshire-based Space Data Centres has welcomed one of Europe’s leading driving electronics suppliers to its secure Tier 3 location.

Snooper provides route guidance and speed safety infrastructure underpinning millions of journeys each year.

It has a major following in the professional driving and leisure market, processing huge amounts of data every day on Britain’s ever-changing road networks.

Now, ahead of a strategic realignment of the business, it has now found a secure home at Space Data Centres, which is located just 10 minutes from the M1 on a site north of the city.

Snooper will join a wide-range of well known online e-commerce stores at Space, together with many of the East Midlands’ leading software businesses, designers and providers.

Earlier this summer the tier 3 data centre announced it was backing key service providers during the Covid-19 crisis with free access to their Video Meetings, Messaging and Phone solutions.

Space Data Centres’ Andy Gilbert said: “This has been a year like no other and we have worked hard to do what we can to support a wide range of organisations that supply to the healthcare and education sectors for free to keep them working as seamlessly as possible.

“Now we are proud to welcome another iconic brand here to our secure location and look forward to helping them to drive the performance of their products and services which are used by so many drivers on our roads today.”
