Lutterworth-based cybersecurity software company Intercede has announced a major new contract win for the US Department of State.

Specialists in digital identity, Intercede’s MyID® software helps the likes of Airbus, T-Mobile, and the UK Government issue and manage employee digital identities for multi-factor authentication.

In its most recent contract win, the company’s MyID software will be deployed as part of the US Department of State’s next-generation identity management services (IDMS) implementation in a ten-year, multi-million pound contract.

“We are delighted that MyID software will form the central element of the Department of State’s next-generation IDMS,” said Klaas van der Leest, chief executive officer of Intercede. “This new contract win underlines the quality of our MyID software and its future in managing best in class digital identity solutions for security conscious organisations like the DoS.”

The London Stock Exchange AIM-listed company, which also has a US office in the Washington DC area, says it is well placed to help organisations adapt to the increased requirement for secure remote working and is anticipating further growth.

“We are a Leicestershire-headquartered company, but our software can be found in organisations around the world and we are actively expanding our network of reseller partners to help drive growth targets internationally as part of our recently launched Connect Partner Programme. Our software continues to lead the credential management space and so we are always interested in adding new developers to our highly skilled team. We currently have a number of openings for software engineers looking for a new challenge in the cybersecurity space so I would encourage anyone with the right skillset to take a look at our website”, added van der Leest.
