Notts farm on the market for £1.2m

Wolds Farm

A major parcel of East Midlands farmland is up for sale for the first time in 60 years.

Wolds Farm in Nottinghamshire has become available for the first time since 1959 for a guide price of £1.2m.

The Stanton-on-the-Wolds farm includes a four-bedroomed house and farm buildings that cover approximately 15,875 sq ft. The farmland itself extends to about 64.67 acres.

Sam Thomas, farm agent at Savills Lincoln, said: “This represents a rare opportunity to purchase land in an area where farms seldom come to the open market. In addition to the rural location, which is very much in demand at present, the farm provides a residential property and an range of traditional farm buildings that are ripe for a diversification or conversion, subject to the necessary approvals.”
