Nottingham firm signs Transatlantic deal to acclerate Teams adoption in schools

Nottingham-based Senso.cloud has signed a multi-year deal to help accelerate the adoption of Microsoft Teams chat within schools in the UK and US.

The collaboration will allow senso.cloud to monitor Microsoft Teams chats with the customer’s consent.

As part of the agreement, senso.cloud will monitor chat messages and inspect images for visual threats using senso’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) and keyword algorithms that are focused on user safety, then raise an alert when a violation is detected.

Microsoft Teams is working with senso.cloud to monitor the rising demands for Teams chat while driving new innovations to make distance learning safer and more resilient for the future.

“This is an exciting step forward for schools as it will unleash the full power of Microsoft Teams while assisting schools with their duty of care,” said Michael Payne, COO, senso.cloud.

The new collaboration builds on Senso’s and Microsoft’s history of working together. After graduating from the Microsoft for Startups program and achieving Microsoft co-sell status, Senso has seen a global demand for its solution. The senso.cloud platform, built on Microsoft Azure, is leading the way in accelerating digital transformation and innovation in Education.

“Companies like senso.cloud add customer value to school administrators by integrating their solutions with Microsoft Teams,” said Mike Ammerlaan, director, Microsoft 365 Ecosystem at Microsoft Corp.

“The deep product integration with senso.cloud is a great example of the type of technological solution that helps schools succeed in their digital transformation.”
