Derby law firm advises on multi-million pound sports deal

A Derby law firm has advised American sports and entertainment firm, General Sports Worldwide (GSW), on its multi-million pound acquisition of London-based media and sports management experts, 366 Group.

Established in 1998 by Andy Appleby, GSW uses sport and entertainment to help clients build relationships with their customers, employees and the community.

Appleby worked closely with 366 Group’s CEO, Sam Rush, at Derby County between 2012 and 2015.

Flint Bishop’s partner and head of corporate and finance, Martyn Brierley, advised GSW on the deal.
