Derbyshire-based leisure vehicle equipment and accessory supplier Miriad has achieved Approved Exporter Status and has entered the New Zealand and South Korean markets.

This move comes as the company reports achieving record sales through its online ordering portal in over the summer and gaining Approved Exporter Status from the HMRC.

The new Approved Exporter Status aids in the transit of Miriad’s goods to the export markets and also helps continental customers with their import processes.

Richard Toon, business development manager for Miriad said: “Building exposure and supplying products to New Zealand and South Korea has been something we’ve been interested in doing for a long time. It’s such an achievement to know we’ve succeeded in taking our British company overseas.

“This alongside the Approved Exporter Status which comes from the fantastic efforts of our Purchasing Manager and myself, and news that our sales are continuing to grow rapidly is testament to Miriad’s reputation for excellent customer service and as a trusted supplier and distributor.”

Toon added: “We enjoy great connections with businesses both in the UK and overseas. We’re also hoping to start working with the US and Australia and have made progress with contacts in each country planning strategic relationships.

“It’s predicted that more people will be having ‘staycations’ this year due to the pandemic, not just in the UK but all over the world so, we’re seeing a huge increase in interest for parts and products to kit out a camper or caravan. We’re thrilled that we can be a part of this solution, internationally.”
