Acquirer of skip hire business pledges investment and job creation

Yorkshire business Fletchers Waste Management has completed the acquisition of Retford-based skip hire company Retford Waste Ltd.

Fletchers Waste Management has operated from its Sheffield base since 1982 and will add the Retford Waste facilities to it’s growing portfolio of businesses in the waste management industry.

This deal extends Fletchers Waste Management’s Yorkshire operations, further increasing its ability to serve customers across South Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

The firm says it aims to grow Retford Waste into a complete waste management company, not only offering skip hire to domestic and commercial customers but full-scale commercial waste management for businesses operating in the area.

It adds this expansion of services will mean greater investment in the facilities at Retford Waste Ltd and lead to the creation of new jobs.
