On the move: the latest East Midlands hires
Market Harborough-based Leoch Battery UK has appointed Jessica Shaw as its new sales manager – network power.
Shaw joins Leoch Battery UK from Eaton, a global leader in power management solutions, where she was a business development manager for lighting and safety products for four years with dual responsibility for sales in the south west region and west London. Prior to that, she was business development manager for Wetac UK, a battery specialist, responsible for selling Wetac battery products into the data centre industry.
Phil Hardy, sales director UK and Ireland for Leoch Battery UK said: “Jessica brings significant experience to her new position at Leoch, both in battery sales and with direct sector expertise in the data centre and telecoms markets, ideal for our Network Power range of products. We’re delighted that she’s joining us and are confident that she will help us to grow UK sales in this important market.”
Financial services broker, Midlands Asset Finance (MAF), has grown its healthcare division with the appointment of a new director.
Based in Derbyshire, Mark Lawson will enhance MAF’s coverage for healthcare businesses across the country, specialising in the pharmacy and dental markets.
Prior to joining MAF, he spent over a decade at NatWest, five years of which were as a relationship manager, before moving to Santander as relationship director in the healthcare arena for 13 years.
Lawson is the first person in 2020 to join MAF’s healthcare division, which is headed up by head of healthcare, Mike Gascoigne, since its launch in October last year.
He said: “I am delighted to be joining MAF and the healthcare team, bringing over 20 years of experience with me to support the growth of the healthcare and medical sectors across the UK.”
“It’s an exciting time to join the business as it continues to go from strength to strength and remains committed to investing in further growth.”
