Battery manufacturer opens new Silverstone Technology Centre

Electrical and battery manufacturing company Eltrium has moved into a new Technology Centre based near Silverstone.

Eltrium will work with clients across the motorsport, aerospace, marine, defence and automotive industries.

The company’s senior engineering team includes former electrical design engineers and senior technicians from leading Formula One race teams Mercedes F1 and Red Bull Racing, as well as Royal Navy Aerospace.

The company’s new 6,500 sq ft Technology Centre houses a harness manufacturing workshop, battery assembly room, and CIRRIS equipped Quality suite.

The Eltrium HQ will also allow the company’s engineers to create 3D electrical harness designs, route simulation and technical drawings to explore new ideas and create working prototypes.
