Green light for 77,000 sq ft speculative industrial scheme

A masterplan of the site

Around 77,000 sq ft of industrial/warehouse property has been given the green light in Stoney Stanton.

Blaby District Council has granted planning permission to Clowes Developments for the business park, which will be developed speculatively.

The scheme is made up of seven units which are set to be subdivided into 18 properties, of which three are already under offer.

Work is set to start on the scheme in Q2 of this year.

Dominic Jackson of Clowes Developments said: “Gaining the reserve matters planning consent provided a good end to what was a challenging year. We are eager to keep momentum going and start on site at the earliest opportunity.

“We are confident that with our proven track record and the expertise of the team involved in this project we will deliver another quality development and hope to attract a wealth of suitable occupiers to the scheme.

“Whilst interest in the business park is high, we encourage all enquiries to be directed to our agents, FHP Property Consultants and Andrew Ashwell who will be happy to provide more information about the scheme.”
