West Bridgford creative agency wins historic instruction

The Dairy team

Nottingham-based creative agency The Dairy has been appointed as the new creative partner for local attraction, Nottingham Castle.

The Castle is currently in the final stages of a three year £30m transformation which will see the restoration of the Castle and its grounds as well as the addition of a new outdoor adventure playground. The world famous attraction will also be home to the new Robin Hood Adventures as well as the Rebellion Gallery, changing temporary exhibitions, Brewhouse Yard, on site eateries and gift shop. The Castle is expected to re-open its doors to visitors this Spring.

The deal The Dairy will be supporting the Castle with the creation of materials to promote the attraction and to guide visitors around the site upon arrival. This includes the creation of leaflets, maps, point of sale signage and other branded items to support the wider visitor experience.

Nottingham Castle’s marketing and communications manager Alexandra Broughton said: “We’re delighted to be working with The Dairy. We’re always keen to work with local companies and they have been brilliant to work with so far; fully understanding our brand and being incredibly efficient. The visitor map that The Dairy is currently designing for us is great fun and we know that visitors to the Castle are going to thoroughly enjoy using it.”

Nigel Rowlson, managing director of The Dairy, said: “It goes without saying that we’re delighted to have been chosen to create the marketing materials needed to promote the Castle and support the on site visitor experience. To work with such an iconic brand and tourist destination in our home city is an honour, and we’re excited to see things take shape over the coming months as the Castle prepares to open its doors to the public again very soon.”
