People: Cooper Parry; trentbarton
Linda Marston-Weston has joined Cooper Parry as transaction tax partner after 21 years with EY.
While at EY, Marston-Weston was transaction tax leader and head of tax in the Midlands.
She said: “I joined Cooper Parry because of the opportunity to build and grow a Transaction Tax team in the entrepreneurial market – a space I’ve always been passionate to support. All the people I’ve met at CP have been fantastic, and I knew immediately that they were people I would love to work with.
“There’s a real enthusiasm around everything at CP, the culture is incredible, and there are a lot of similarities between the business’s values and my own. It’s an interesting time to start leading a new team, of course, but I’m very confident and excited about what we can build here.”
Ross Hitchcock and Matt Holton
Two managers have joined trentbarton to lead the bus company’s commercial operations and its marketing and communications.
Ross Hitchcock is trentbarton’s new commercial manager and Matt Holton is the marketing and communications manager.
Tom Morgan, commercial director of trentbarton, said: “In Ross and Matt we have excellent additions to our team. Both will play key roles in driving forward our vision for providing the UK’s best bus experience for our customers.”
