Nottingham fine dining restaurant lands another Michelin award

Sat Bains, the Nottingham-based two Michelin-starred restaurant, has received a further award from the prestigious guide.

The Lenton Lane fine dining venue has been named as one of just 23 across Great Britain to receive a Michelin green star, which marks a commitment to putting sustainability in the spotlight.

Michelin’s international director Gwendal Poullennec said: “These role model restaurants are a source of inspiration, not only for the whole industry but also for all the readers and users of the Michelin Guide.”

A £150,000 investment has seen Sat Bains introduce a composter which reduces food waste volume by up to 90%, along with employing a gardener to become more self-sufficient.
