People: Motorfinity; Game Changer Performance

Sharon Kirk

A Lincoln-based has appointed a new director and promoted two employees.

Discount car service Motorfinity which specialises in providing exclusive discounts to UK emergency services, NHS, social care workers, armed forces and educators, has promoted Sharon Kirk to sales operations and compliance director while Tom Skipworth and Luke Chambers have been promoted to senior account managers.

Managing director of Motorfinity, Daniel Briggs, said: “Last year certainly came with its challenges, but it also marked a period of extreme growth for us. We saw a massive increase in orders and as a result were able to help more customers buy their dream cars than ever before. A new car often serves as a lifeline for so many of the nation’s critical workers and each year we work hard to support and make life a little bit easier for them.

“Over the coming months, these new promotions will play a key role in helping us support even more customers. We couldn’t be prouder of the three of them and look forward to another successful year.”

Harriet Evans

A former talent and development manager for British Cycling, who has worked with some of the world’s biggest global brands, has joined Derby human performance specialist Game Changer Performance as director of corporate performance.

Harriet Evans will use the experience gained through working with the world’s top sporting talent and global companies to deliver development programmes for employees across all management levels.

Harriet, who has competed for Great Britain, worked with national governing bodies to uncover Olympic and Paralympic medal winners for GB and Australia in rowing, athletics, taekwondo, cycling, canoeing, sailing and shooting at the Beijing, London, and Rio Olympics.

“My role was to find athletes capable of winning gold medals, devising the initiatives to find the talent, often in areas previously unthought of, working with the coaches to devise the testing and monitoring of athletes, and work with the wider support team to ensure the athletes had a rounded approach to their development,” she said.
