Packaging firm moves into larger Derby HQ

The UK arm of Dutch packaging firm Audion Elektro has expanded its Derby presence by taking the 5,000 sq ft Unit 4, Centurion Way in a deal negotiated by Hugo Beresford of Salloway Property Consultants, on behalf of private landlord clients.

Audion Elektro are part of Audion Elektro, which was established in Amsterdam in 1947 and has grown to become a leading name in the packaging industry, with a worldwide dealer network representing them in more than 65 countries. The firm specialises in the manufacture and distribution of a range of packaging machines.

Beresford said: “I was aware of Audion’s expansion plans and knew that they had been struggling to find a property which ticked all of their boxes. It was clear that Unit 4 was a near perfect match and so I got them around quickly and was able to agree terms within just a few days of the property hitting the market”.

“The premises will provide Audion with new UK headquarters and which will incorporate offices, workshop accommodation and a new showroom to showcase their equipment.”
