He joins the national housebuilder with over thirty years of experience in the construction industry. Having previously worked as group commercial director at Morris Homes, along with various technical and commercial director roles for CALA Homes and Barratt Homes, McCann will lead Keepmoat’s East Midlands commercial team.

Shaun Fielding, regional managing director at Keepmoat Homes, said: “I am very pleased to welcome Iain to our team. He brings to our business a wealth of experience and the kind of attitude which aligns with our regional aspiration for continued growth in quality of product, plot output, profitability and team engagement.”

McCann said: “I am excited about this opportunity joining an ambitious East Midlands region within Keepmoat Homes as well as looking forward to being part of the development and growth plans for our people, our customers and the company performance as a whole.”

Pippa Culverwell

Soar Valley Press‘s digital marketing apprentice, Pippa Culverwell, has been named the runner-up in the Association of Colleges’ Student of The Year Awards.

Culverwell, who completed her apprenticeship with North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College, is the only marketer employed by Leicestershire-based design and print company, Soar Valley Press.

Soar Valley Press specialises in making design and print a simple process for their clients and it’s through creating helpful blogs, guides and social media content that Culverwell has assisted in delivering this vision.

Whilst working remotely, she has also gained several different qualifications including a Level 4 CIM Award in Digital Marketing and a Level 3 Certificate in the Principles of Coding. She also won the East Midlands Chamber ‘Apprentice of the Year’ award in November 2020. After finishing her apprenticeship in December, and gaining a Distinction, Pippa has now been employed as a marketing coordinator, leading on marketing for Soar Valley Press.

Her hard work was recognised as she took the runner-up place in the national awards.

Managing director at Soar Valley Press, Chris Goodman, said, “We’re proud of Pippa who has performed brilliantly since she joined us. It’s fantastic that she’s been recognised by the Association of Colleges in this way. I gave her a really wide range of tasks to work on and she has developed new strategies and seen some great results from the campaigns she has put together for us. We look forward to seeing her develop further in her future career.”
