Plans for 16-apartment residential scheme lodged in Nottingham

Plans have been unveiled to build 16 apartments on the site of a textiles building in an historic part of Nottingham.

Inest Living has lodged plans to build the scheme on Raleigh Street in the Arboreturm area of Nottingham.

The company wants to demolish an industrial building and develop a new part three- and part five- storey apartment scheme of 6 two-bed, 9 one-bed and one two-storey, four-bed duplex, along with 10 parking spaces.

A planning statement reads: “We consider that there is positive case to support this application, given the building use, fit-for-purpose site and the design which has been led by planning policy guidance. The development complements its’ environment and would offer up a good example of the standard of development that would allow this part of Arboretum to continue to develop.”
