Mike Birt

Nottingham-based Your IT Department has welcomed a new recruit to its sales and marketing team.

Business development manager Mike Birt has joined the business bringing the Your IT Team to 15.

Lee Hewson, manging director, said: “Mike is really well known within our industry and it’s a real coup for us to have secured him. He is our first business development manager concentrating solely on new business and is a key appointment for us.”

Birt said: “I’m delighted to be joining Lee, Simon and the rest of the team at Your IT Department. I’ve been aware of how Your IT have been growing over the best 3-4 years and have spoken to a number of their clients in the past. They always spoken very highly of the service and I’d found it difficult to persuade them to move away from Your IT. I figured if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em and so here I am!’
