Major land deal sees Bowmer + Kirkland companies take control of 725 acres

A firm which has been trading for 88 years has sold a major landbank to two Bowmer + Kirkland Group companies.

W.Westerman has offloaded 725 acres of land to Peveril Homes and Peveril Securities, who have aslo bought the firm’s Field Farm site in Stapleford on the outskirts of Nottingham.

W.Westerman says it will continue its involvement as a principal partner of the Lindhurst Group at Mansfield.

Ralph Jones, main board Director of the Bowmer + Kirkland Group and MD of Peveril Securities, said: “From one family owned business to another we are delighted this transaction has completed and has emphasised the flexibility in the Bowmer + Kirkland Group of companies working together utilising our internal resources and finances to provide opportunities for the group in the future.”
