Nursing agency snapped up by national group
A specialist agency providing nurses and carers to care homes, hospices and hospitals across the Midlands has been acquired by a national group.
MCG Group, which has expertise in the healthcare sector and also operates in the aerospace and aviation, construction, education, and technology sectors, has acquired StaffAid, which operates from offices in Leicester and Lincoln.
StaffAid will sit alongside the MCG Group’s healthcare brand MCG Healthcare, which specialises in placing primary and secondary care professionals including nurses, doctors and allied health professionals (AHP) to public and private sector healthcare settings.
The group also recently acquired Poppy Nursing and Care Services in November 2020.

StaffAid will retain its branding and trading name, working alongside MCG Healthcare to provide suitably experienced agency staff for both regular and ad hoc staffing requirements.
