Property People: Node Building Consultancy; CPP

Tom Tyler

Nottingham-based Node Building Consultancy has hired Tom Tyler following “previously unprecedented” levels demand for the business’s building surveying and project management services.

Tyler joins the business as a chartered building surveyor, having trained at and achieved chartered status with a locally based national practice. His appointment follows that of Lucy Pottinger whom joined the business in November 2020 as a graduate building surveyor.

Tom Burton, director, said: “We are excited to have Tom join the business, allowing us to continue to offer great service to our growing client base, during this period of frantic demand. Tom brings board project and professional services experience with him, having previously worked within the NHS Capital Projects team and more recently having spent nearly three years with a national firm of construction consultants, servicing various public sector bodies, and gaining chartered status. Tom’s professional and personable approach is a great asset to the business.’

Tyler added: “Since joining Node I have been particularly impressed with the variety of instructions over such a diverse client base. I very much look forwards to expanding both my knowledge and experience as I move forwards within the role.”

Property consultancy Commercial Property Partners (CPP) has appointed a new associate director.

Callum Jeandin, MRICS, joins CPP as an associate director in the Property and Asset Management team from Savills, in a move which sees him return to his home-city of Sheffield from where he will work across the CPP Sheffield, Nottingham, Leeds and London offices.

Jeandin said: “CPP is the prominent commercial property firm within the region.

“Having watched the business build a formidable reputation over the past decade I am delighted to be now joining this forward-looking organisation, building on my experience to date, and working to help deliver the high-quality CPP service across the UK.”

Matthew Fitzgerald, director and head of property & asset management at CPP, said: “We are extremely pleased to welcome Callum to CPP.

“Callum brings with him the relevant experience, understanding and drive to help us to continue to move forward in our next and ambitious stage as a team.”
