Social Scene: Nottingham Commercial Property Lunch

Sam Burt and Paul Irwin were questioned by TheBusinessDesk.com editor Sam Metcalf

Around 40 leading commercial property industry figures came together on Wednesday lunchtime our TheBusinessDesk.com’s first networking event after restrictions were lifted.

The Nottingham Commercial Property Lunch, which was held at Bar Esca in Nottingham city centre and kindly sponsored by Cartwright Communications, was the first opportunity for most attendees to get back together for relaxed face-to-face networking since last March.

They heard from our guest speakers on the day, Paul Irwin of investor and developer Bmor and prominent local developer Sam Burt, who both emphasised their ambition for the city and said they were committed to future projects in the city “for the long term”.

Irwin also revealed the high interest from London and overseas for space and developments in Nottingham and that his phone was “constantly ringing” with enquiries about the city.

We’ll have details about our next networking lunch next week.

With kind thanks to Izaak Sabo for the photos.
