Chris Davis

Business broker Business Partnership has appointed of a new regional partner in the East Midlands.

Chris Davis, who will be supporting business buyers and sellers in Derby and Nottingham, has a background in engineering. He spent more than a decade in the aerospace and rail sectors, working in sales, procurement, programme management and engineering before becoming his own boss in 2007 after leading a successful management buyout of one of the businesses he had been running. Following a bolt on acquisition, the business was ultimately sold to a major supplier.

“Tim Bayley, the regional partner for Birmingham and Warwickshire, was handling the sale and even though it didn’t work out he taught me the valuable lesson that there will always be a buyer for every business,” he said.

“I’ve managed businesses through good and difficult times and understand the pressures and opportunities involved in running, owning and selling your business to gain maximum value. Business Partnership’s values of professionalism, trust and honesty are congruent with mine and I’m looking forward to joining a team of more than 20 partners with many decades of experience between them.”
