PwC in the Midlands has appointed Habib Farazmand as tax director.
Farazmand brings with him over 16 years’ experience of working with a broad range of clients in multiple sectors, providing support through transactions, organisational and regulatory change.
He started his career in PwC’s large corporate tax practice before moving to industry and then specialising in EY’s international tax services team where he has spent the last 10 years including a successful secondment in New York, working with the largest US multinationals, advising on the tax implications of inward investment into the UK.

Leicestershire-based insurance broker, Anthony James, has appointed a new head of
private clients to help grow its first personal insurance offering for high net worth individuals.
With over 15 years experience within the private client insurance industry, Nela Cooper joins Anthony James to head up its new venture, Aura.
Cooper said: “I’m really excited to join Anthony James during a time when the company is
growing rapidly. The team is continuously investing in different projects as well as its people to improve the client experience and position itself as a credible leader in the insurance industry. I’m really looking forward to being a part of this journey and being able to bring my expertise to help take Aura to market.”
