Amazon to lease major £93m warehouse in Leicestershire

Online retail giant Amazon has completed the letting of a huge speculatively built warehouse on Magna Park in Lutterworth.

GLP has secured the £97m lease of the 746,000 sq ft MPS1 building, with Amazon taking a 20-year lease, according to reports in Property Week.

MPS1 is made up of 700,000 sq ft of logistics space and a 46,000 sq ft office unit.

The move follows the news that Amazon will take the 411,000 sq ft MP411 building on Magna Park, which will be used a support facility for MPS1.

CBRE advised Amazon, with DTRE and Burbage Realty representing GLP.
