People: Pygott & Crone; Colleague Box

Phillip Brown, Tim Downing, Dale Brewster and Nigel Jemson

Estate agent firm Pygott & Crone has welcomed a host of new faces to its new property and valuations team based in Nottingham.

Joining the business is office manager Dale Brewster, bringing with him 10 years of experience within the Nottingham property market.

A further two team members have been appointed to the sales team – with Phillip Brown joining as senior sales consultant and Nigel Jemson as sales negotiator.

Brown brings with him 16 years of strong customer service and sales experience across a range of industries but has spent the last 14 months at a busy local estate agent before joining the firm this summer.

As sales negotiator, Jemson will also have specific focus on business development – utilising his contacts from his time as a successful football player with Nottingham Forest to secure new listings and promote the company’s image in the region.

Tim Downing, director of Pygott & Crone, said: “I am very pleased to welcome Dale, Nigel and Phillip to the team. Each individual brings their own character and skillset to the business which is already proving to be a winning combination.

“As an award-winning national agency with our roots in the East Midlands, we are looking forward to growing further into the Nottinghamshire property market within the coming months.

“It’s a positive time for the business having had such a successful start to this turbulent year, I’m confident as a team we will continue to grow – having already secured some impressive property listings in the area. I wish the new team members the very best of luck in their new roles.”

Chrissy Law, Katie Lowe and Gemma McHarg

Derby gift company Colleague Box has welcomed three new members of staff – and moved into a new, bigger warehouse.

Chrissy Law joins the firm as marketing manager, Katie Lowe has been appointed as order fulfilment specialist while Gemma McHarg, who has experience working with companies including Jaguar Landrover and, more recently, Pattonair, is the new commercial sales director.

The trio join husband-and-wife founders Adam and Natalie Bamford, order fulfilment manager Carly Dainty and accounts manager Hannah O’Brien at the Derby company’s new home, a 4,000 sq ft warehouse – called The Smile Factory – in the Northedge Business Park.

Adam Bamford said: “We are delighted to welcome Chrissy, Gemma and Katie to Colleague Box.

“Chrissy has a wealth of marketing experience; Natalie and I have known her for several years, having worked with her at Selenity, our previous employers. Chrissy helped us in the early days to get Colleague Box up and running and will be instrumental in pushing the business on.

“Katie also has previous experience working on a temporary basis for Colleague Box and we’re delighted to be able to appoint her on a permanent basis, while Gemma’s portfolio is pretty impressive; she also set up a business – Active Toddler Clothing – during the pandemic and joins us at a really exciting time with a brand-new website launching soon and Christmas on the horizon.”
