Actons, the Nottingham law firm, has made several new appointments as embarks on a hybrid working trial.

Three trainee solicitors, who have recently completed their training contracts with the firm, have taken up new full-time roles with the firm as newly qualified solicitors. Jessica Park joins the Private Client team, Neelam Khaleel joins Property and Waleed Tariq joins the Employment team.

The firm has also welcomed its intake of new trainee solicitors in Renee Freeman and Will Blenkinsopp. Renee joins the firm after achieving a first class law degree at Nottingham Trent University and undertakes her first training seat in the Litigation and Insolvency teams. Blenkinsopp initially joins the Property team and also achieved a first class law degree at Nottingham Trent.

Actons has launched a six-month hybrid working trial, allowing staff the flexibility to work when and where suits their role, clients, team and the firm, taking special consideration of their own wellbeing.

Simon Dakin, director and chairman at Actons said: “It gives me great pleasure to welcome Jess, Neelam and Waleed as newly qualified solicitors. I’m especially pleased that we have been able to retain all of our trainee solicitors who qualified this year and who strengthen teams that are as busy as they have ever been.”

“I’m also delighted to welcome Renee and Will as they embark on their legal careers with us after what must have been a challenging final chapter of their university education during COVID.“

“All of them have shown good character and a high level of ability to reach this stage, and we now hope that they apply these qualities in building successful long term careers with us.”
