Winners revealed at East Midlands Business Masters Awards
David Campbell, director at Derby-based diagnostics firm Surescreen, was named Ambassador of the Year at the East Midlands Business Masters Awards on Thursday evening (October 21).
In front of an audience of around 280 business leaders from across the region, Campbell walked away with the title after a stellar 18 months for the firm, which has undergone rapid expansion since winning a series of Government contracts for Covid testing kits.
Sam Metcalf, Midlands editor at TheBusinessDesk.com said: “So much has happened since our last Masters Awards in March 2020.
“Back then, we were on the cusp of the first wave of the Covid – indeed, that turned out to be our last event for almost 16 months as lockdown was imposed just days later.
“Despite this – or maybe because of it – we were inundated with entries once again this year, with over 100 companies from right across the region vying for the prize. This is a testament not only to our growing readership, but also the strength in depth of businesses in the area.
“Many congratulations to all our shortlisted companies and winners.”
