Tennis complex at Meadow Lane stadium to be served up as plans passed
Plans to build a padel tennis centre next to Notts County’s Meadow Lane Ground have been given the green light by city planning bosses.
The decision means that four padel tennis courts will be built on unused land off Cattle Market Road and Iremonger Road to the north-west of the stadium.
Padel is a form of tennis that played mainly in a doubles format on an enclosed court about a third of the size of a tennis court and can be played in groups of mixed ages and abilities, as it is not power dominant.
