A Nottingham law firm is investing in Nottingham city centre after buying its own offices in a deal brokered just in time for Christmas by commercial property specialists NG Chartered Surveyors.

Immigration law expert Burton & Burton has snapped up 11 Castle Quay on Castle Boulevard in Nottingham after outgrowing its existing office on Dale Street in the city.

Naveed Aziz of Burton & Burton said: “We had been looking into an office move for some time as we have outgrown our existing office space. After viewing various premises around Nottingham we felt that Castle Quay was ideally located close to the city centre which would allow us to continue servicing existing and new clients.

“The move to new office space will allow us to continue our growth as a business even with the challenges presented by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.”

Ellis Cullen of NG added: “Who said the office market was dead? This deal shows that there are still ambitious companies out there who are willing to invest in high quality city centre office space.

“It’s been a pleasure dealing with Naveed and his team and we’re delighted to seal the deal just in time for Christmas. I wish Burton & Burton all the best in its new Nottingham office.

“I’d also like to thank Tiran Sandhu at Knights who acted for our landlord client and Paul Hinchliffe at Nelsons who acted for the buyer.”

Naveed added: “Working with the team at NG has been great with regular contact with Ellis throughout the journey from the initial interest shown in the property to finally getting the deal over the line.”
