People: New project manager for Tecserv; Stormclad adds duo

Paul Hopcroft

Fire and security alarm maintenance and installation firm Tecserv UK has appointed Paul Hopcroft as its new security project manager.

Hopcroft has over 29 years of experience within the fire and security industry, starting out at Shorrock Security as an installation engineer and progressing to installation supervisor before moving into their national account division as a project engineer.

More recently he worked for Clymac Fire and Security as its senior technical engineer which involved project design support, internal auditing, engineer training and mentoring and providing onsite engineer support.

He said: “I was seeking a new challenge and when I heard about the opportunity to join Tecserv I jumped at the opportunity to join such a well-respected company. The team is well renown within the industry for its consultative approach and reputation for delivering high levels of customer service.”

Tecserv UK is based in Underwood on the border of Nottingham and Derbyshire. The company specialises in the installation and maintenance of fire and security systems for businesses.

Allison Froggatt and Sally Malin

Stormclad, a home improvements company based in Basford, Nottingham has employed two new team members.

Allison Froggatt joins the team as a customer service advisor and began her role towards the end of 2021.

She said: “Stormclad is growing rapidly as a business and I am excited to be part of the growth – I think 2022 will be just as busy as 2021, if not busier

“We have many returning customers and new customers that have come to us through recommendation. People are still unsure about booking holidays due to the Covid pandemic so they are spending more of their money on home improvements.”

Started in Nottingham more than 20 years ago, Stormclad offers a range of aluminium, timber and uPVC windows, conservatories, bifold, patio, front and back doors, carports and verandas.

Stormclad has also recruited new window designer, Sally Malin. She will be visiting customers and carrying out consultations for the firm’s range of windows and doors.

John Evans, director at Stormclad said: “We are really pleased to be welcoming new faces to the team. We are always on the hunt for new ideas and fresh talent but at the moment, we are busier than ever so now is a really crucial time for us.

“With these new excellent additions to the Stormclad family, and as more and more enquires come in, we are looking forward to seeing what 2022 has in store.”
