Next withdraws from Russia as operations mothballed
Next, the Enderby-based retail giant, has become the latest big name to withdraw from Russia.
The firm, which has an online presence in Russia and a distribution centre in the coyntry, is mothballing its operations in a move which will affect around 160 staff.
Next says it will turn its Russian website off “indefinitely” over coming days in response to the crisis in Ukraine.
The company has already stopped shipping into Russia following its invasion of the country. Next has no self-owned stores in Russia.
