Lucie Riley, chief operating officer; Ronny Sassen, European managing director and Vinny Riley, UK managing director from Rhenus Home Delivery and Gary Clarke, general manager, CDC Magna Park.

Rhenus Home Delivery UK is set to open a new central distribution centre in Lutterworth in the Spring.

The new site is located in Magna Park, where the Rhenus Group already operates four dedicated warehouses. It comes in at 258,000 aq ft and is currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment project. The new depot will support Rhenus Home Delivery’s expansion of its services, including next day and just in time delivery.

Formerly the home of Costco and Wayfair, Rhenus Home Delivery’s new location, named Hurricane 258, has a long history in furniture distribution, and will prove a significant investment for Rhenus Home Delivery UK.

Vinny Riley, managing director, Rhenus Home Delivery UK, said: “This is a fantastic step forward for Rhenus Home Delivery and will allow us to significantly grow our client base and service offering. In fact, it will change the way the business operates, as it transitions to a hub and spoke model, allowing us to expand our services.”
