MHA MacIntyre Hudson has announced a pair of senior promotions and a new appointment to its Central Region team.

Francis Hudson and Nathan Sutcliffe have become tax partners, while Alastair Cassels – who joins from Volkswagen – will work as automotive advisory partner at the accounting firm’s Milton Keynes office.

Steve Freeman, partner and head of the automotive team at MHA, said: “The market opportunity is huge with the fundamental changes the Automotive and Automotive Retail sector is facing across digital transformation, Electric Vehicles, OEM Agency arrangements and network rationalisation, technology, new market entrants/disruptors, autonomous vehicles and connected cars and I am delighted that Alastair will be joining to support our existing sector to capture this.”

Arron Ross

Engineering consultancy Howard Ward Associates (HWA) has appointed Arron Ross as a structural engineer.

The University of Brighton graduate will bring nearly six years’ construction industry experience to the Nottingham-based firm.

Giles Ward, managing director of HWA, said: “We’re very pleased to welcome Arron to our team. With the uncertainty that the job market has seen over the last two years, sourcing the right person for the job has been of paramount importance to us.
