Property consultancy hits jackpot with sports betting and gaming group

Chris Wright

Commercial property consultancy OMEETO has announced a new partnership with one of the world’s largest sports betting and gaming groups.

The Derby-based firm has been appointed by Entain plc to dispose of a number of the FTSE 100 company’s surplus properties in the Midlands and South Yorkshire, including sites in Nottingham.

Entain operates in over 20 countries worldwide. Its brands include household names such as Ladbrokes and Coral.

OMEETO owner Chris Wright, who will work alongside associate director Caine Gilchrist to complete the disposals, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with Entain plc. They’re one of the biggest betting and gaming groups on the planet. Their brands are well-known high street staples, so this is a great project to be involved with.

“We will be helping the group to dispose of well positioned properties, in prominent locations that are likely to appeal to a broad range of High Street occupiers.

“Initial instructions include shops to let in Nottingham, Sheffield and Birmingham. We were well positioned to service the contract from our existing offices in Nottingham and Derby with the West Midlands’ insight brought by my associate director, Caine Gilchrist.

“We are thrilled Entain PLC, a major corporate client, have chosen to work with OMEETO. This is testament to the team’s hard work and fresh approach to commercial property marketing.”
