People: The Dairy; Branston

Chris Skeggs

Chris Skeggs has been promoted to the Board at Nottingham creative agency The Dairy.

Skeggs held the position of senior designer at The Dairy for nearly four years before being promoted to creative director in 2021.

He said: “Since joining The Dairy, I’ve been presented with tremendous opportunities which have given me the freedom and ability to grow within the company.

“It’s been a challenging 18 months, not just for us but for many businesses across the country, and I’m proud to say that we’ve really come out on top. Our team has shown incredible resilience and a real dedication to our clients – both of which have enabled us to remain stable during uncertain times.

“Now as creative director and a member of the Board, I’m able to really put my stamp on the creative direction of the agency and nurture our talented creative team so that we keep pushing the boundaries to the benefit of our clients.”

Ronnie Wilkinson has been made business improvement officer at Branston, the UK’s largest potato supplier.

Wilkinson joined the Lincolnshire company in 2012 and worked on the production line before taking on a series of leadership roles.

He said: “I am now a business improvement officer but I am also responsible for the use of continuous improvement to drive performance and I create training plans for team members.

“The training side became really important during the pandemic because we had to train people across a range of roles really quickly. It made us stronger in terms of planning and aiming to be one step ahead in case anything like that happens again.

“Now I’m hoping to achieve the operations manager role. I’ve got a lot of work to do – I want to train and develop myself to move faster with progress. Obviously Covid didn’t help as it put a two-year gap on everything, but the company is very supportive.”
