Evelyn Partners, the integrated wealth management and professional services group, has appointed a new financial planner in its Nottingham office.

Nick Parkes joins the company from Ryley Wealth Management, where he obtained chartered financial planner status in November 2021.

He will be based at the firm’s Nottingham office at Loxley House on Riverside Business Park.

Craig Richards, head of Evelyn Partners’ Nottingham office, said: “I am delighted to welcome Nick to our financial planning team in Nottingham. We have ambitious plans to continue growing in the East Midlands and Nick’s experience and expertise will be instrumental in enabling us to provide more clients with high quality financial advice.”

Outsourced IT provider Link ICT has welcomed two new recruits.

IT technicians Stuart Edmonds and Liam O’Grady bring a wealth of IT support experience to the Derby-based firm, with Edmonds having worked for Amazon’s on-site IT company and O’Grady at NatWest and a local solicitors.

Edmonds said: “I wanted to expand my professional development and I was interested in working for a company that offers a combination of on-site and remote support for their customers as I know from experience that offering a mix of both can deliver a more bespoke solution. Offering remote support is useful, but being on-site helps to build much stronger relationships.”
