£58m residential scheme to support over 100 jobs

Avant Homes has acquired 25-acres of land in the Nottinghamshire village of Awsworth where it plans to deliver 250 new homes – with the development expected to support 120 jobs.

The £58m scheme on Shilo Way will include a mixture of two, three, four and five-bedroom properties.

Construction will begin in November should planning chiefs give the go-ahead. The scheme is expected to take four years to complete.

Avant Homes will also commit a community contribution of £1.7m to support local education, public transport and open green space maintenance.
