Lloyds Banking Group has confirmed a further 66 branch closures from October – on top of closures already announced in recent months.

In the East Midlands Lloyds branches in Belper, Lutterworth and New Ollerton will close, alongside Halifax’s site in Retford.

This latest closure list affects 48 branches of Lloyds Bank and 18 Halifax branches which will go between October 2022 and February 2023.

It follows Lloyds confirming 28 branches would close between August and November this year, while a further 60 sites would shut between June and September.
