Property agency strengthens residential team with senior hire
Savills has bolstered its residential sales team in Lincoln with the appointment of a new director.
Ben Kendall brings more than 20 years’ experience to the property agency.
He joins Savills from a local independent agent where he held roles as senior associate and office manager.
Kendall began his career as a commercial agency surveyor before moving into the residential sector 12 years ago.
He will be based at the firm’s Olympic House office on Doddington Road in the city.
Kendall said: “As a proud Lincolnite I am looking forward to working within the well-established team at Savills to continue to grow the Lincoln office’s offering in both its mainstream and prime property markets. I’ve seen the county, and Lincoln, change from a quiet and sleepy part of the country to a vibrant and diverse University City over the past 15 years and I look forward to drawing upon the incredible national and international reach Savills has, and the appeal of Lincolnshire, to help our clients sell their homes.”
Rupert Fisher, director and head of Savills Lincoln’s residential sales team, added: “We are thrilled to welcome Ben to the team. As someone who has lived and worked in the city for most of his life, his excellent knowledge of the area and wealth of experience of the local property market will be of tremendous benefit to the team and our clients across Lincolnshire – and at a time when the performance of the housing market continues to surprise.
“Over the course of 2021 and the first half of this year, the market in the East Midlands, and the UK as a whole, has been little short of remarkable and Ben’s appointment means we can continue to meet increasing demand.”
