Anglian Windows names East Midlands freight firm as UK transport partner

A Northampton-based logistics business that works across a variety of sectors including consumer goods, food and drink and ecommerce has won a prestigious new contract with Anglian Windows, the UK home improvements company.

XPO Logistics will serve as Anglian’s primary UK transport partner as part of the multi-year deal.

The freight firm has already created a customised transport solution for Anglian and trained its teams to handle the double and triple-glazing specialist’s product lines.

XPO, which also provides logistics solutions for major global events including the Tour de France, says it has placed staff at Anglian’s manufacturing facility in Norwich to help manage performance in real time.
